I have an art degree from an engineering college, but never had a chance to use it. I think the pressure to be able to pay my bills was a little overwhelming, so I joined the suburban life and got a job. Owned a jewelry store in the 90's (a previous life...) then ended up out here as a full time mommy.
Just by pure chance, my favorite band came to Chicago this past year- and I was reminded of feelings~ thoughts~ ideas~ and the unlimited freedom and elation (INSPIRATION!!!! Thanks, Robert!) that I used to feel. I think I found myself again! I think it IS possible to be Mommy and yourself at the same time. It's a little slow going right now, but as my kids get older I'm finding that I have a little more time to be creative. The kids even draw with me. I'm sketching now for a kooky idea I had in the car the other day waiting in the preschool pick up line.
My life I'm sure is not very interesting to you all~ but I have to say that a lot of the young artists that I see every day on this site are so very talented and will go a long way! Use the time that you have to explore and FEEL and keep using your inspiration to find that life that you want to live. I am.

thanks for the fav and the watch!
